this is by far the smartest, or rather, most thought out song that i have heard in a while or ever.
this song is just genius. basically one night i came across this video while drooling over other things. it's a cover of No Scrubs (TLC) sung by Dan Smith (lead man of Bastille) and Ella Eyre which is recorded against a heightened instrumental version of Angels by The XX. that's where the name comes from, No Angels.
to add onto it even more, they've incorporated a dialogue from the movie, Psycho, into it. this is why it is so damn smart. this song isn't good or great or even fantastic, it's just so damn smart. gosh. this just adds on to why i'd love me some Dan.
if anyone reading this thinks, "gosh asbo, this song is so old man" then i'm sorry, i jumped on the bandwagon late but at least i'm on it!
