where can i go?

look deeper with clean eyes.

we went on a History/Geography tour yesterday in Soweto. we went to Carlton Centre, Hector Pieterson Museum and some other important place that I can't remember.

at this important place that I can not remember, there was this little boy. the sight of him just broke my heart because he is so small, with tattered shoes and clothing, but that wasn't what got me all choked up. the look on his face, the fixed expression of it was a frown of some sort. he's so small and who the hell knows what the future holds for this little boy. who the heck knows? i suppose that i could be exaggerating the look on his face but that is just the way that i soaked it in.

my favorite <3

this is another little nana who saw me taking pictures of the boy and kept hanging around me. she wouldn't smile for me, or maybe i just couldn't take it quick enough but she has a beautiful smile.

and lastly, i swear that this man is made out of rubber. this is definately something that you had to see in real life to understand the freakyness of it all.

i think that i just want to make a point and say that no matter what area you are in, every place has so much beauty in it if you just forget all the theories linked to it, if you look at things in a nother way, if you just take the time to clear you head and look deeper with cleaner eyes. there is so much darn beauty everywhere... if you're lucky enough, you'll be able to not only see it but FEEL it.
