where can i go?

the observer

in my grandmother's little shop in Makola, dozens of people pass by all the time. i always love to just sit there and watch people walk by. children, women, men and tourists all squeeze through the narrow alley ways. often there are the raised voices coming from those who get knocked aside with their heavy loads.
there is such a hustle and bustle vibe the emanates from here, i really do love it.

despite me having the privilege of being able to experience Makola over and over again every year, i still leave with a sense of awe every time. Ghana is honestly a place that will humble you. it is amazing what you can take for granted when it comes so easily to you. i will always love Ghana for bringing me down to earth. i will always love Makola for the colours, aroma's and beauty that pulses through each and every alley way.

i feel lucky.
i do.
